Moitree Art Camp

The children of the two Bangla were tied into friendship in three days long Moitree Art Camp in Kolkata from January 2, 2011 to January 4, 2011 organized by Cubic Art School, Dhaka and Nehru Children’s Museum, Kolkata.

1st Day

The art camp was inaugurated by an eminent artist, Debobroto Chakroborty and Artist Asit Pal was present there as the Special guest on the first day of the camp. Debobroto Chakroborty has wished success for the camp and said that whenever he visits Bangladesh he always remember the cordial reception of the people of Bangladesh. Asit Pal said that the national anthem of two Bangla was written by one person, Rabindranath Tagore so we do not have any basic differcence. Mr.Mujahidul Hassan Rana, the director of Cubic Art School said that as we do not have any difference in art, culture and environment so we do not have any difference in our art and craft.

2nd Day

The children enjoyed a lot on the second day of the camp in the zoo where the children of the two Bangla played together and drew pictures together. Mr.Susanto, Mrs Soma and Mrs. Nafisa, the teachers of the camp taught the children the different types and techniques of art.

3rd Day

The children were greatly amazed on the third day of the camp as they got an opportunity to draw pictures in the Government Art College of Kolkata which contains the memory of Artist Zainul Abedin and Kamrul Hassan.The Princial of the Government Art Collegeof Kolkata, Artist Dipali Bhattacharjee was greatly surprised by the works done by the children and she gave certificates to the students on that day.
